How to Remove a President Without Democratic Process

Nancy Pelosi looked anything but enthused as she and fellow Democrats chanted their praises for the current American president, Joe Biden. Despite their words, their faces seemed to show everything from distain to disinterest for the man they insisted was the best choice for the oval office just a few short weeks ago.
Many United States citizens feel they recently watched as the Democratic party literally pushed its own candidate out of the race, out of primetime televisions, off the stage, and out of the presidency. Although Joe Biden had made it inherently clear that he intended to run for president in 2024, his party had other ideas.
Those Americans say that the Democrats’ claims of being sticklers to the democratic process were proven false as they pushed the current president to drop out of the presidential race, and inserted a candidate who had not received one vote from the public they claim to represent. It was a move that many are calling a coup, with claims of Pelosi threatening to smear Biden’s name publicly if he did not comply.
Nancy Pelosi has admitted that she played a huge part in shoving Biden out of the door. She told CNN, “Sometimes you have to take a punch for the children. I did what I had to do.” She’s also stated concern that her friendship with Biden may not recover after she and more than 30 House Democrats pushed to remove Biden from the presidential race.
As Pelosi, Hilary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and other Democrats chanted their love for Joe at the Democratic National Convention last night, there were signs that it was perhaps more lip service than emotion. Nancy’s face showed no enthusiasm as the cheers poured from her lips.
Biden was also pushed to a time slot that was far outside of prime-time television. The president did not walk out on stage to take the mic until it was nearly midnight on the East Coast.
It may seem to some that seeds are being planted to imply Biden is already done, even though he is technically still the acting president. According to one report, “Biden will be long gone,” after his speech at the DNC. The president won’t be there as his fellow Democrats give their speeches and continue in their celebrations. He is set to start a two-week vacation in California.
CBS pushed those seeds of an ended presidency deeper with the first line of their post which read, “President Biden took the stage on the first night of the Democratic National Convention for the last time as president…” Of course, the meaning was quickly corrected with, “or as a candidate for the presidency,” but for many, it seems the president of the United States of America has been effectively removed from office and replaced, without a hint of the 25th Amendment or one single American vote.
